Wednesday was the Last day of school for the Kiddies here in Worcester Ma. So I decided to Celebrate By Heading Down To Foxwoods with Rake Feeder. I Had the Kids all taken care of and My wife got home at 5:15 Rake Feeder pulled up at 5:30 and we were off. We arrived at Foxwoods at 6:50 after stopping for gas and Promptly registered for the 7pm tourney which had 5K starting stack, 20 min levels and 103 Runners.

I basically played 3 hands in the first 80 min and had my stack at 5500 which is Pretty short coming back but no big hands to chip up. The table was pretty boring with only 1 real Donkey in the 7 seat which was good for me since I had the 9 seat.

Now I only call him a Donkey because of 1 hand. blinds we like 50/100 and he limps from MP and then the 8 seat goes All in and Is called by the 3 seat well it folds back to the 7 and he thinks for about 10 seconds and Calls with??? A5s??? Now as the hand played out it ended up being a 3 way chop but calling 2 all ins with A5s Preflop is just retarded in my Humble Opinion. After the 3rd level was almost over the 10 seat which had been empty was filled with the 2nd Place winner from the 1pm tourney.

So I start the 5th level with 5500 but it is now 200/400 with a 50 ante so I am Short, I blind down to 4500 and Donkey in the 7 limps with 2 others and I Raise All in with ATs. Folds back to the Donkey and He calls with 55, I had been hoping to pick up the Blinds and Antes but Didn’t mind the Race cause a Double up would give me a stack that I could work with and Other than said Donkey the Others weren’t going to call. But it wasn’t meant to be since I Didn’t catch and was out.

8:30p.m So Off to Play 1/2nl I buy in for 200 and get seated at a decent table in the 8’s and play for 20 minutes of so in I move to the 5’s where I would stay till 5:30am. RakeFeeder moved over from Playing Omaha8  after his Must Move table Broke into the 8’s.

No real Interesting hands till this one I am curious If Anyone would Play it different?
So I get AJs Utg and call a raise to 12 with about 6 others and see a Flop that is All low and 2 spades. I check and the 7 seat checks the BB Raises to $40 and I call Then the 7 seat Reraises to $200, What the Fuck?  so it folds back to the 4’s and he tanks for like 5 minutes all the time he is talking he says he has a set and doesn’t know if he can fold,  So after talking himself into it he Pushes Allin for like 135 more. Now the Action is on me. I Really didn’t need any more time to think and Folded since all I have is the Nut flush draw No pair and I know 1 of my oponents has a set and I figured the other had a straight or set and Don’t really want to stack off with just a draw. It is a Set against a flopped straight with 64. I would have hit my Flush on the River but still think Its the Right Move.

So Basically for the next 7 hours just played ABC poker.

I did have one fun hand where I got the Hammer in MP and Raised to 20 after 4 limpers and got called in 2 spots. Now I was like ohh fuck but then the flop came K77, Ding. so I lead for 20 and get 1 caller the guy in the 6 who is solid but likes to play. We had been talking so the turn comes and I bet 20 again and he flats. Then the river comes and I bet 10 and I Tell him to fold. So of course he calls and I show My Suited Hammer and Shout it out HAMMER.

But that would be the Highlight of my night since Every Time I raised with or Limped I couldn’t hit a Flop to save my life. I Basically watched all the action from the sidelines and ended up +12 dollars after my tourney buyin. Whoa I know what your all saying when am I going to Turn Pro?  Yeah Yeah fuck that shit. Why Anyone would want to spend 40+ hours a week in a Casino with some of the Most Miserable Fucking People in the world along with probably coming into contact with who knows how many Contagious Diseases that are Floating around from Poker chip to poker chip.

I wonder sometimes while playing why some people are there.  Are they there cause they are Gamblers or Action Junkies or are they just killing time waiting for their Spouse so they Don’t mind calling of their stack 20-40 bucks at a time with no real Concept of how to play? We had more than a few of these people and they would buy in short then bust and rebuy short over and over.

So I was Disapointed to not make more than $12 bucks but happy that A. I was walking out up and B: that I played Decent and didn’t make any Big Mistakes.

Now I will have to work on that Hourly Rate cause I should just go get a job at Mcdonalds atleast I would get free French Fries and not have to put up with The Mouth Breeders who haven’t showered in like 5 days.

I called RakeFeeder to see if he could be talked into a trip to foxwoods. Which is like asking AlCanthang if he wants some Southern Comfort Then I called my wife to get the ok from her. So RakeFeeder picked me up at 4:45 and we were sitting at a tables by 6pm.

Rakefeeder got sat first at a table next to mine so I immediately asked to a table change.
MY first table was short with only 8 playing and the First hand I am Dealt QQ in the BB and I Get 4 limpers and Raise to 20.
get 2 callers and the flop comes A high and I fire a C bet and fold to a big reraise and get shown AKo. Now I had only bought in for 150. Yes I am purposely short stacking. So right off the Bat I am down 47. 3 hands later get QQ again and raise the 6 limpers To 20 and get a call and with no Ace I fire a C bet and this time I take it down. So back to 145 and table busts and

Luckily for my a seat is open at Rakefeeders table opposite him which is perfect. While I like playing at his table I Generally try to stay out of his way so being across the table is perfect for me and him I Would assume.

So I am in the 3 and RakeFeeder is in the 10. After about an hour I move to the 5 where I would stay the rest of the Night. It sucks getting old and I have a hard time reading the board from the ends.

The 2 jersey dude’s were real annoying they one on the 8 especially He was splashing around and Raising alot of pots. I played 2 hands in a row the first where I flopped 2nd pair but let it go to the big raise from him.

then the 2nd hand about 3 hands after the first I raised with AQo oop and he called. Check check, check check, now the board was all low cards so I check the river and he Fires out a Bet of 25 inot a 40 pot. Now I am not usually in the Habit of Calling the River with AQ high but I wanted to see what he had and couldn’t figure out what he would call preflop with then check to the rive and bet.

So I called and won suprisingly with AQ high. Marked this guy down but never seemed to get a hand that I could play with him. He did like to get it all in.
they leave about 11 and I am trying to get rakefeeder to leave at midnight, He says lets play and its a good thing we did.

So up to about 200 and tables starts to turn over. This guy sits down in the 2 and proceeds to dump 300 on the table in the course of 10 hands and luckily for me I ended up with 150 or so of it.

So for the Next 2 hours I basically bounce between 332 and 275 not hitting any flops with any of the crap that I chose to play Which isn’t that wide since I am the tighest person at the table.

This Black Guy (Bgwrsh) with a redsox hat sits down in the 7 seat and Proceeds to double up the first hand and he is soon up too about 800 from 200 winning 3 hands with TPTK and Getting lucky on the river like sucking out 2 pair after you chased all the way with just a pair of 8′S.

He was my New Target now that the Jersey Guys left Rakefeeder Moved to the 4 seat directly to my left which is better than my right I guess. So Rake and I decided to leave at 2 when the dealers change. So last hand I get TT in the BB and there are like 5 limpers including Rakefeeder so I Pop it to 20 and get 2 callers with Rakefeeder dropping. The Black guy with the sox hat (the Lucky fuck) and the Asian guy who was pretty solid but had taken it on the chin lately. Flop comes T55 BINGO. I am not one to usually act but as soon as that flop came I groaned out loud and started cursing under my breath. I check my boat and the Bgwrsh bets 40 into the 75 pot and the Asian guy calls. I sit there and take my time then ask how much and call. Rakefeeder is Bitching to me and I kick him under the table telling him to pay attention, Since he is out of the hand.

The Turn is a K so the Board is T55K I again check my Boat and Bgwrsh bets about 100 quickly and his hands are shaking slightly. The Asian guy folds and then I tank for a Minute and then Push for like 240 more. He takes about 20 seconds to think then makes the call. I am really only worried about KK and I think he would have Reraised Preflop so I think I am good.

He flips over AK and the River is a 5 so I am good with the Board showing 55TK5. Dragging the Biggest Pot I have ever won for like almost 900 bucks.
Now the interesting Part is that Rakefeeder was telling me on the flop how I knocked him off his hand. He had Limped with T5
He would have Rivered Quads. Lucky for me I didn’t him see it for cheap.

is probably my 4th time Playing NL live at Foxwoods and After the session I was real happy with the way I played. Not only cause I ended up cashing out for 600+ but I made what I think was the correct play most of the time. I was too passive at times but such is life.

one hand I had AJo and Limped and the slop cam J34 2 diamonds and It gets bet by the 1 seat and she gets Reraised by her husband in the 3 before it gets back to me. I flash my AJ to my Neighbor and he chastises me for folding that, but the 3 seat had AA and I made the right fold. Interesting thing happened during that hand. After I folded While the Lady was about to call her husband he blurts out I am all in before she called his flop bet or the turn had been dealt. WTF is that? I think he was just trying to save his wife the money but still.
She made the call anyways and lost and my AJ was no good anyways Like I thought. I folded a bunch of hands that might have been good but I am not calling 20 flop bets with middle pair no kicker.

If it hadn’t been 2 am I would have been happy to stay and Play but I had a date with work today and I am working a double, Bartending from 8-2 at Gilreins tonight. So It was time to leave.

Sundays schedule.

1. 4:00a.m wake up at 4am even though alarm is set for 7
2. 7:45 Pick up RakeFeeder
3. 7:55 Get that feeling like I am going to puke. We are in Dunkin Donuts Parking Lot.
4. 7:57 Drink a Coke stomach settles down.
5. 9:10 Arrive at Foxwoods and get signed up for tourney.
6. 9:30 Sit down at 1/2 nl. I get nothing Playable and lose 8 bucks before the Tourney.
7. 9:59 Sit Down at Tourney Table. I have RakeFeeder to my Immediate Right.
8. 10:00 Get dealt First Hand and BUST OUT.
9. 10:15 Play 1/2 for the Rest of the Day.
10. 9:00 Leave Foxwoods Down $30

What can I say other than I am a DONKEY who brutally misplayed the first hand I saw in the tourney and got knocked out as GIGLI in a 200+ person $100 tournament.

First let me say that the way they do the seating is fucked up at Foxwoods. RakeFeeder and I signed up and got assigned seats 4+5 at the same table. We were at 2 different windows. They claim to have random seating but this is the 2nd time this has happened.

OK I had AQo in utg+2 RakeFeeder had told me that the person in the 5 seat was very raisy daisy so I limped along with utg for 50 and seat 5 proceeded to raise to 150. UTG made the call and I called. We saw a Flop of Q8x, utg and I checked to raisey daisy and he leads for 350, utg raises to 900 and HERE IS WHERE I FUCKED UP. I just called trying to get tricky and trap RD. Mr RD folds and the Turn is a 6, utg leads for 1600 and I reraise to 3200. He pushes for like 600 more and flips over 86 for a turned 2 pair, No Ace or Queen on the river and I am GIGLI.

This was a Group Outing for the HPT. RakeFeeder and Biggestron were in attendance along with Ittolm who is the HPT commissioner and 6-7 others. My Man ScottyDawg came in 5th place for a nice payday. ScottyDawg seems to do well at casino tourneys. He has gone deep in both the Foxwoods and the Cesears Tourneys.

I Played 1/2 pretty much from 10:30 till about 8. I ended up down 30 for the day. I could have been up 200 or so but lost a huge 3 way pot when my flopped K high flush. Got caught by the guy playing A6o caught his spade on the turn to scoop a 500+ pot. So instead of being up a lot I was now down 50. I had bought in for 200. I got up from this table and went to find RakeFeeder who was now out of the tourney and playing 1/2. I managed to snag a seat at his table at the opposite end from him. He is in the 2 and I am in the 8.

I have like $156 when I sit down at his table and the First hand I get AK. I limp cause the guy in seat 10 is on something. He is very Aggitated and he raises and gets 3 callers including myself. Flop comes K high and it checks to him and he immediately Fires a Bet for 26. He gets called by the 1 seat then it folds to me. The 1 seat is one of those players who takes his time at the table. He probably take 30 seconds to a minute to make his decisions. Well after seat 10 raised he tanks for a minute and seat ten glares at me and he is Banging his chips on the Table.
He then Jumps up and wants to call time on seat 1. But he keeps staring me down. RakeFeeder is looking at me funny wondering what I have. So the Floor comes over and Puts seat 1 on the clock and I stand up to Look at the Board since I am in the 8 and the floor guy yells at me to Sit down cause me standing up could be construed as an act of intimidation.
So seat 1 calls I then ask the floor if I can stand and look now. Check the board look at the 10 seat who is staring at me and reraise to 75. I don’t think he is that strong. He is trying way to hard to get me out. He then ReReraises All in which Covers me. Seat 1 folds and I Make the Call and he flips over K8 and My Ace kicker is Good. Back to Even for the Day.

I don’t like Calling his Allin with just AK but he was so agitated it made it a really easy call since I bought in short.

This guy then goes on MAJOR TILT and spews another 100 or so onto the table raising almost every hand for the next 15 min. Too bad I couldn’t get the rest of his money. This was at like 2:45P.M and RakeFeeder and I sat there till about 8:30. He atleast had the good sense to go Eat some food. I Just sat there and Churned for the Next 5+ hours ending my day down 30.

Table selection is so important at Foxwoods. My first table was a bunch of Grinders 4-5 who had all been siting there for 4+ hours already with pretty big stacks RakeFeeder had come over and warned me about 1 of them. The 2nd table was more Donks like Me. At one Point we were Joined By our friend D, She plays mostly limit but I think that after yesterday she might not be going back. She played well and left the table up some.

Wow I think this might be my longest post ever.

Tonight is the MATH, I will not be playing since I am not a big fan of 6max.
